RG6 coax for cb radio use anygood ???

have just been given loads of RG6 satelite coax would this be any good to use for cb radio,?? Thanks in advance for any replies

It's low loss, and thin - but a rotten match to 50Ohm systems as It's 75Ohm - in reality, on receive it's not really a problem, but with all the usual grief getting a radio matched to the antenna, using 75Ohm cable makes all the readings your meter provides a bit pointless. A length of RG6 to a 50Ohm dummy load doesn't give you a 1:1 VSWR, which 50Ohm cable will.
