I am in a location where I can hear at least half the Country and with the current lack of propagation 'operators' think that it's perfectly acceptable to use the calling frequencies to have a local conversation for an hour or so or to whistle and ola ola or transmit a carrier to 'tune up', all these idiots need to do is just turn that knob a couple of clicks, if you can break in on them and politely ask them to move they often say that there's no-one else on, give you a load of inane abuse or say 'I don't care'. I tell them that just because they thing it's dead doesn't mean there's no-one listening, just because you can't hear anyone doesn't mean that no-one can hear you. This may not be in the exact context of the topic title but I believe quite relevant. I also believe that threatening to cut coax or actually doing so makes that person no better than the ones causing problems, bide your time, what goes around comes around.

No, in all seriousness I'm saying don't lower yourself to their level. There is, as the saying goes, more than one way to skin a cat.

Coax cutting / pinning, twig pulling down / bending, mob going round to sort, lads (and lasses) biggin' themselves up behind the mic. Sheesh! Something's never change.

Here's an idea, ban all CB in the UK, then we can all do the illegal dance once again like the good old days

^^ CB is meant to be dead/dying but there are still people "returning to see if people still use the CB local" up here ^^

Make CB great again = Build big homebase SSB CB radios that have a screen seperate the size of a smart phone, with an internet connection, but keeping the CB side of the radio ANALOGUE = none of that sh1tty network radio with rules and knobs for mods..........this way you can still CB how it was meant to be but still catch up on all the latest CB news on TM1👍afterall we are in the 21st century and not the late 70's / early 80's = most young people expect more than just one function from techie stuff in 2019.......one things boring to them........come on manufacturers lets do it ;)

We just need a Zombie Apocalypse and everyone will be reaching for their Harvard handhelds, York homebases and of course, their Fidelity 1000's for optimum mobile useage ;)

Would rather be eaten by zombies........rather than using a cybernet radio........zombie escapees prefer uv5r's anyway ;)

Two of the best UK40FM radios ever made
(the Magpie Autoscan 5000 was superb but expensive and not as popular as these two)

^^ Prefer the Audioline 340/Uniace 100 for a 27/81 straight 40 UKFM CB ^^

Unfortunately I aswell reckon the only thing to make cb great again is if there was some sort of long standing stoppage of Internet and cellular devices, like an apocalypse.

But if we're talking apocalypse, I would prefer mad max style instead of 28 days later
