Some auto timers such as electricity meters and the like that use the what was known as 'economy 7' system and switch over do so on GMT, now we're going back to GMT these units will in effect kick in an hour earlier from then.

Slightly off topic but saw some of those bloody awful PLT units tonight in Tesco.Reduced to clear!!Wonder why??

Could go down the OFCOM route but lot of hassle and they nearly always refer you to the BBC (!) who then refer you back to OFCOM {bnghd}
