It was very interesting for sure.........but the part about Radio Caroline was more interest to me.2E1IIP wrote:The show is put together by professional broadcasters and presenters, the format is very well thought out.paulears wrote:The first decent, watchable and sensible ham radio programme I've seen - shows the total rubbish some people produce up. I have bookmarked it! Thanks for that.
I know Lynch sponsors it and that is not a bad thing - I would rather watch the odd advert about Icom and Yaesu radios than Towey, X-Factor or Christmas 2016!
The explanation on wind shear and meteor particles as the catalyst for Sporadic E was brilliant, then how the Tropo conditions can be as low as a few meters above ground level just made sense in so many ways.

Already done.Oggy wrote:I've got the answer Weety.......let's report CH5 to Ofcom........I'm being serious.MrWeetabix wrote:It's worrying that even the suggestion of this was allowed to be air, based on absolutely ZERO factual evidence. It could very well put the idea in people's minds across the country, giving more radio ops headaches with media-fed neighbours blaming their own ailments on our hobby.porky.69 wrote:to blame a antenna for some one getting cancer is just laughable
There will be no follow-up by channel 5. Maybe a post on their website of twitter account at best. there's no money to be made in correcting a hyped-up story with actual facts.
Peoples thoughts please??

I assume you have done it by yourself?.......to be taken more seriously it needs more folk complaining (numbers count).2E1IIP wrote:OfCom wrote: Thank you for contacting Ofcom.

I'm sure we not the only ones thinking of this.
I intend to contact Ofcom too.

Yes, I think the complaints need to be individual as numbers count - the more number of people complaining the more chance they will take note.Oggy wrote:I assume you have done it by yourself?.......to be taken more seriously it needs more folk complaining (numbers count).2E1IIP wrote:OfCom wrote: Thank you for contacting Ofcom.
