Roger Beep YES/NO Poll

I like a short single beep like the Ham International or the President George but when these Aholes extend the beep on their anyclones deliberatly pi$$e$ me right off, I dont like 5 or 9 tones either but a K tone can be tolerable, The Hygain peewit and the MK1 148/360 are just horrible and 3900 beeps when a screwdriver expert has adjusted the FM deviation right up also distorts the beep and that can be annoying.

i see dave cubwolf is knocking up hygain bleeps, cant even remember what they sound like, my anytone bleep is short and sweet, although when i crank up the echo on 555 nobody answers me

I personally like the simple Ham bleep.

I think its useful with SSB,but there is no reason for it to be loud,long or sound like a doorbell. A simple Uniden-style beep is sufficient. I don`t even mind if its a 5 tone beep,as long as its not slow and loud.

On ham radio I've never missed a beep.

Last used one on a multimode 11 in about 1986

you can program the cobra bleep in eadily enuf and sepura... tetra (police) cukoo in hilow tones it..
fast or slow..
deep, nearly sub audible...
k tone etc...

no hygain.... as cant slide afaik
