I will try and get up on the hill. Will probably take my PC-999 Grant, as they are a real screamer on AM.

I'm looking forward to the first time I haven't been working away for this.
Will try to find a vacant hill here in Derbyshire and lurk around channel 14 to see if I can hear anyone......

Well..... not a complete washout....
I could hear Tim 26FB879 down in Hertfordshire.... in the back of the box... but he was definately there. Congrats Tim, you were making it to near Ashbourne in Derbyshire
Unfortunately there was no activity near me. I listened and called from 7 till 8....
I need more power mobile......

Re: Halloween AM net
I heard someone in QSO on channel 16, but they were on FM
Other than that, completely dead. On a positive note, I had much less PLT noise this year
Will try again next year

Still, it's better to light a candle, than to curse the darkness
Kudos also to SimonTheWizard, for featuring the Halloween AM Net on his blog
The net was a success in West Scotland, apparently! Video posted here:

So, the Halloween AM Net wasn't a complete boo boo

If Halloween had been at the weekend I suspect there would have been more activity.
