How are they 'spoiling it' ? By spending their money ? If you were a seller you'd be happy, and as a buyer it's up-to-you what you spend. I think it's down to 'the market' to decide the prices, and in many ways E-bay has at least given a more truthful value to our radios. Before E-bay you might be lucky to get a tenner for a CB in the local paper, or Exchange & Mart (remember that?) because the hobby had thinned out, and you couldn't reach the number of prospective buyers. Now at least E-bay has reined in the profiteering 'specialist' shop prices, and given Joe Public a chance to sell or buy their radios for a "fair" price. I can't see that having millions of members bidding to buy or sell has 'spoiled' anything - the car boot "give ya a fiver" days are long gone, thank goodness. At least if I'm selling my equipment I have a good chance of getting a fair return off it, and when I see an item I fancy - I'm in with the same chance as anybody else. Bid wisely and Caveat Emptor. What your meant to have... you'll get. Karma has a way of levelling all of us.The-General wrote:I was refering to the idiots in general on Ebay spoiling it for everybody else,
