The decal backplate normally falls off in these trapping the needles so make sure its stuck back down properly, This can be a bit fiddly, If the meter is well and truly no good i may have one in some bits up the attic somewhere, But no decal back plate,I would have to find it and check its still ok.

Hi Nick

I would apreciate it if you could find one, i have a good back plate, but the meter itself is no good, completely missing one needle and the other is bent like a banana with what looks like a fine copper spring hanging out of it.

thanks for the reply

I found it but i got it wrong, decal plate is on it but missing plastic glass cover, so as long as the one you have is ok then it should be fine.

hey thats great nick, i have the glass cover, PM what you want for it and and postage, i will get the funds over to you.

Thats great news, this 1500 is in good condition but seems someone had a go at the meter back plate fix and really damaged the meter itself.

Thanks nick your a star!
