Hi,
New to scanning, former Cb'er in the 80s, Would like to know if anyone has interesting Frequencies in the Farnborough / Aldershot area?
Obviously Farnborough airfield would probably be best place to start, Would it be possible to receive Heathrow from Farnborough on Standard antenna ? ,
Is there a perhaps a decent loft mountable aerial I should be looking at ?
Oh I also ordered the uk scanner cd rom from ebay, is it worth buying the localised upgrade for another tenner ? has anyone tried that ?
Any advice / hints / tips welcome, im running a gre psr 295, on standard antenna right now but thinking about watsons although not sure which one is best or where to get them from?

Don't forget 444.3375 paired with 449.725
http://spectruminfo.ofcom.org.uk/spectr ... %20licence
A pretty unique allocation to Farnborough Airport.
Farnborough LARS East 123.225 is currently reallocated to Atlas South for the Olympics
As is Farnborough LARS North 132.8, but that's north of London.
125.25 is Farnborough LARS West.
You might also check:
259.000 Rdr
315.525 Rdr
336.275 Apr
357.400 Twr
379.975 Ops
— Those are from other sources, haven't confirmed them myself.
