VHF utility companys

Post by fmdx »

139.945 (thereabouts) and 140.120 mhz Analogue trunked control channels still active.
Are these long lost and forgotten or is scottish power etc still using them?

139.94375 and 140.11875 Analogue Trunked control channels still chirping away although not heard any comms around these.

Possibly Scottish Power channels J56 and J70.

Couple of UHF analogue trunked control channels run by SP still on air.one wishaw neck of woods and one eaglesham end although still no comms around them heard.

Plenty of the JRC things seem to be active from the Midlands upwards.
Occasional voice traffic still heard and in some cases it seems as though equipment has been upgraded / changed to MPT1327 compliant instead of the older 'almost MPT1327' (!) that the cell structure used.

These freqs/TCCs currently burbling away just south of my hotel near Manchester
