Glasgow repeater 430.900
Is anyone else listening to this repeater just now? It sounds like there is some sort of encrypted digital comms going on. (Fax machine noise) Has it went digital? I was listening in this morning and it was fine. Apologies if this is a stupid question, but I don't fully understand repeater technology. Cheers.

I am not able to listen to the repeater ... bit far away at the moment but the GL box is a Yaesu Fusion repeater so it will do both normal analogue and 12.5 kHz C4FM Digital.
On the very odd occasion there will be two amateurs that have yaesu Fusion radio's and the repeater will output the characteristic C4FM Digital signal if they both use them in that mode.

Thanks for the replies guys. It seems to have been the settings on my radio, I have reset them and it's fine again. Don't know what happened.
