Queens baton relay

Post by scottyboy »

I will start a new topic on this, the baton is working its way round Scotland, from a photo in the paper today it looks like there is security with radio comms with it.
Anyone had any luck with any transmissions when it's passed through there area?

Mototrbo for the games staff with the baton,
168.4625 mobile repeater, digi grp200 and slot 1 for channel 1, possibly slot 2 for channel 2 as that was mentioned that once the repeater is turned off then comms will be lost on channels 1 and 2, but use channel 5 for evening comms, so I assume that will be simplex, not sure if it will be the repeater input or output frequency channel 5 is or if it's different again.
