The WTR shows no assignments to 160.775 (:63)
This is presumably to protect SAR channels :633 and :634

161.825 is :84, used by HMG for news transmissions from Islay (and other sites).
These transmissions are announced on :16
You may be misunderstanding what you are hearing, :84 does not relay :16
KEY : = channel/stud | ~ = CTCSS/DCS | ^ = transmitter site | ¯ = overhead | * = trunked

In the Loch Foyle area of Northern Ireland Ch 16 is repeated on 160.775 (123.0). Various Coastguard Stations in Ireland and Scottland repeated.

In the Rathlin area its 161.9 (69.3)

Unusual to have tones in the Marine Band.

Can anybody add any more? Anybody know the mast sites?

Marine freqs not on the WTR but channels and transmitter sites on the HMCG web site or try www.coastalradio.org.uk
