Fireground frqs 457.0375 and 457.0875 MHz active and pretty strong here just south of Stalybridge.

I parked at the bottom of the hills in Mossley last night, & heard a brief chat on 457.0375 - but because it was getting dark, communication was scarce & I think the vast majority of Fire fighters were called off.

I only heard illegible digital comm's on 457.0875.

I'll tune back in later today in the daytime as I think it'll be busier on these frequencies.

On a different note - I've seen Mountain rescue & other agencies coming up & down, so do you know of any frequencies for these?
