Chester Shopwatch (DMR)

Post by FakeJake »

When searching for the frequency for this shopwatch, i find 4 of them!

Anyone know which I need? Maybe all 4?

Anyone also have the CC and TGs? I have promiscuous mode on and both slots and all CCs set to scan but I haven't had much luck.

Thanks in advance

Cheers. I have an RTLSDR but it fails to pick up anything with my indoor antenna.

Any luck on this?
I have frequencies 440.475, 440.475, 441.0375 and 441.2375, I am visiting Chester soon I could take DSD+ , netbook and scanner but prefer to remain inconspicuous and go prepared if possible.
Can anyone PM me colour codes and talkgoups or a code plug for Retvis RT3 ?

Thanks

You can easily find the CC from your radio with the experimental firmware installed. Just wait for RX then Menu -> Program Radio -> Color Code and keep changing the colour code while there is RX leave a pause to allow the radio to sync, Make sure promiscuous mode is on otherwise you won't hear audio if you don't have the right talkgroup programmed also try changing timeslot. It's slow but useful while out and about.

Not all channels are voice some are data only or mixed.

Thanks for the info , I have been reluctant so far to install the experimental firmware, but if it's worth it i'll do it.

Or just save them all into a zone with the CC and Slots and then scan away.
