Warrington cctv

Post by dang »

Hello everyone before anyone says I know there's a topic on this but I was unable to find it. I know that 455.700 that's used on the town but recently it's quiet..... Is there any new freq?

I occasionaly work in the area, I have a few frequencies for the town, the shop / pub watch I noticed was weaker on Friday. I tried to close call the station but got nothing. The platform staff seem now to have radios that patch into the PA system so they can make announcements for passengers

Bank Quay and Central both correctly listed in the WTR if you do a search

It was the tone I was after as well. They don't all use the same, Preston I think is 118.8, Lancaster is 82.5, Crewe I think is 94.8. I drive down there but sometimes just use the trains.

I was in Warrington Bank Quay today, no close call hit when someone used a radio and tones at the end of the transmission.

The link doesn't work, the hyper bit takes you to the WTR search homepage

ive been monitoring warrington past few days since this post but not heard anything on a channel 2? theyve only got 1 frequency on the licence they own but they did upgrade there antenna system an ramped the power up a few months back. iv also seen them 3 freqs you've mentioned an some are registered to apex radio which is a private firm also like storenet i.e warrington cctv. would make sense them being able to patch over to cockhedge etc though if theres a need so maybe ur onto something there?
