Blackpool Airport

Post by neil57uk1 »

Airport closed in mid October and I read that most staff made redundant.

Passing through area today and quite a lot of activity on Tower freq 118.400 with light aircraft taking off and landing. Strange for an airport that is closed. Approach frequency also in use. Can anybody explain please? Nothing on web to suggest airport has reopened.

Thanks.
