Liverpool Taxi 167.118

Hi all, the frequency 167.118 is very strong in the Childwall/Huyton Area Liverpool. Anyone know who they are. I cant hear the mobile units replying to base though. Any codes? Can anyone help out. Cheers

Quite a few taxi systems seem to have that setup with base/mobile differences.

It will be 167.1125 or 167.125, its 12.5k steps, the cars will be 4.8Mhz higher.

so if the base im listening to is 167.118 receive what will the tx be. I guess I would have to tune to the mobile units separately to listen to them

The base isn't on 167.118, it's 12.5k steps on that band.

167.1125 + 4.8 = 171.9125
167.125 + 4.8 = 171.925
