Does anybody use the 449 Mhz frequencys for personal use without a licence in the manchester area?

No, its not fair on the users who pay to use the freqs, stick to PMR 446.

Or pass ham ticket or even get a Simple UK Light licence (Think that`s what they renamed UKGen to)

As mentioned before plenty of room on 446 pmr frequencies, no need to interfere with legitimate users. A convoy full of 446 users :shock:

Hey chris do you pay Ofcom to use that channel or have you just tuned it into you radio and started using it ?
