Anyone point me at some good active freq's or freq's + CC/TG for the middlesbrough/redcar area? visiting the folks this weekend and be good to programme the scanner and Tytera/Moto onto rx only before I go.

Afraid not, I rarely use my scanners these days, I only really use my SDR dongle. The BT file you have will be the same one I use today.
