Don't seem to be hearing a lot coming out of Derby City Centre just lately..anyone else noticing the quietness from the CCTV etc

Wyndham you are absolutely spot on!!
Sometimes when they come on they will say they can't see things happening because a certain camera isn't working.
So this proves that the case is,they're not being monitored at all. Well done for spotting that.
