Ranger on 455.7500 will be a callsign for the Airport Ranger.

Clumber have a repeater on 165.1875 and a Simplex channel on 169.0250. I did hear comms on the repeater last week (in analogue), but as they use the radios infrequently it's hard to catch them.

The vfo I have are 167.85 and 165.1875 with a Ctcss of 114.8 I have not pick them up in weeks now even at Clumber park. but I have noted some new DRM in the UHF band.

I have just hear them on 165.1875 with a Ctcss of 114.8. using the Acorn call talking about Christmas lights. It looks like they are using it again. but for how long now they have digital radios

It's possible they have bought some digital radios and are slowly moving over to full digital as some of the new Motorola radios allow for analogue and digital migration. I know a few places are buying the DP2400's and using them with their old kit. Not 100% sure how it works.

that's what I am thinking now, running both or slowly going over to full Digital. Today I been hear on there channel Alarm zone 1, alarm zone 1. someone then came on saying someone was in testing the system.

Old thread update. They still have Hytera VHF DMR radios but no digital heard. Analogue only on the repeater. It's possible that their simplex channel on 169.0250 might be digital but not heard.

They did by some new Kenwood radios a few years ago (to replace Motorola HT300's!) so probably a very slow migration to digital!

Was there a few weeks ago and was told some have the Digital the important people and other have the old radio stills. but I have never heard DMR on the VFO, it possible it have it own channel.

if you look in the scanner books the NT have lots of channels open to them in the east midlands.

Update TM1

well been to clumber park again in the past few days and I have noted that they seem to have new frequency for DMR has I was on the FM repeater channel and simplex channels and the PD875 DMR has activity and has talking on it.

SO there an other channel any one come across

Will DSD decode Hytera digital radios. They are DMR Tier II I believe??

DSD decodes DMR, all tiers. It won't follow the trunking on tier 3 for example, but it would still decode the voice.
DMR tier 2, of course it will decode that! It is the most used version of DMR. That's what all of the amateur DMR repeaters use and all of the MotoTRBO ones.
