Re: Red Arrows
They were on their usual frequency the other week when I was listening last. When did you stop hearing them?
243.4500 is what I normally catch them on. Maybe they're out on a tour somewhere as its getting into Air Show season?
Dunno, I'll have a listen tommorrow

242.2 is another Arrows frequency, but have never heard it in use. The above site is priceless and I have used it. A lot of teams though just use an airfield frequency as opposed to their own personal one. At Leuchars last year I let the people around me hear the Red Arrows, and the way the squadron leader gave his commands (bearing in mind the G-Force) made people laugh.

Re: Red Arrows
Good Morning All
they still use 243.45 hear a number over the past 4 weeks
242.2 is another Red Arrows and i hard heard this in the past, this sent to be the lead man of the arrows talking to radar but i have not heard it being used in a display
the back up channel is 232.05 and was given to me by friend in the RAF but not heard it in use for some time now,
the best channel is in flight coms and not the display channel but i not heard this in same time and to get an hold of that channel again
Note
do not forget over the winter months they are not in the UK, they go some where and home their display. but can not remember which air base it is out of the UK

Re: Red Arrows
243.450 I take it is the main display frequency, 242.200 the 'between displays' and the 232.050 as a secondary to that. I have the 242 and 243 permanently in, and as I've said yet to hear the latter. The next time I'm likely to see (and hear) them is the Leuchars Air Show which is on September the 11th.

to my understanding and the information i have and given the
243.43 is the display channel
242.2 appears to be the in flight channel to ground / radar
232.05 i was imformed is the BK up to the display channel
so i think if i am understanding you right you got it right, but please not i have note heard the 242.2 in sometime. if you can pick it up it was a good channel.
if any one can confirm if they hear the 242.2 could they let me know or if they know the channel it may have moved to/ it could just be i am not listening at the right time and place.

Re: Red Arrows
The Reds don't exactly have a well used season ticket for popping up this side of Hadrian's, so the chances of hearing them are slim all round. I'll stick that other frequency in that you gave, my box has only 999 out of 2500 possible channels filled so there is plenty of space.

Re: Red Arrows
243.000 I've just heard for the first time, they mentioned a forest, but it was an exercise as opposed to a real incident.
