Anyone else listening in the Norfolk area ?.
I have one or two alterations & additions to the Norfolk listing, but if I'm the only one who uses the site I'll not bother.

I'll have a look through.
among others I have
Kerleys Recovery
Norwich Prison
Anglian Windows.
Airport........Ground
Woody's tipper trucks
City Care
Motorcycle training freq's
plus several where I haven't got a clue who they are.

what freq's do you have ??
Do listen to the ambulances ?. I removed all the taxi's as they are so boring, but the First Bus comms are well worth listening to.
So I passed this test that allows me to twiddle with knobs, push buttons & call my self an Advanced !!!!!!!

Hi sorry this is taking so long but I have been busy setting up & then fine tuning some Ham equipment & then I discovered that the list I thought I had I don't.
I'm not really interested in logging stations just finding them, so as I find interesting freq's I tend not to write them down only add them to the scanner. But I did have a list I'm sure I did.
Here a few active freq's to start with, I'll add others as I identify them.

165.750 First Buses.
70.975 Fire Service.
166.875 Kerley's Recovery. This freq is shared with a taxi company.
166.125 Biffa .... I think.
165.160 Hospital Porters
167.150 Anglian Windows. This is used by the shunter's.
124.250 Norwich Airport approach.
166.560 Ambulances.
119.350 Norwich air traffic control.
456.500 Airport ground services.
460.525 Norwich Prison.

There are several other freq's that I have not yet identified but as I do I will add them.
But the a

167.975..................... Skip Company.
446.1875.....................Airport.
456.450......................Parking Wardens.

Also I found this written down on a scrap of paper. (& thus I do not know if this is still correct.)
169.325 Football stewards.

Sheringham is not an idea location due to the fact that it is between a ridge & the sea.

Can you get the Norwich 2 meter repeater on 145.625 ?. Some Sheringham hams can others can't. It will depend on where you live in Sheringham.
Also listen to the Marine band I use to work in Sheringham & lived in Cromer for many years. I often visit the area & always bring a radio with me.
When Cromer church tower is open it makes a great place to listen from as does Beeston Hump from where you can gain access to several 2 meter repeaters using a handy.
There is also a Echo link repeater opposit the market I'm told. I know where they mean but I don't know what frequency it works on.

Ambulance & Fire service etc are the same.
The Kings Lynn, Fenland etc repeaters etc could be worth listening to also.

Where abouts do you live ? I'm from Hunstanton originally.

I have regularly worked NB, the Norwich 2 meter repeater, as far north as Docking. We also had a regular bicycle operator from Sculthorpe who got in on 10 watts.
The Kings Lynn 2 meter repeater should be an easy log as should FR. I can work that on a handheld from Lynn no problems.
