colchester army ranges?

ive been listening on pmr channel 8 alot lately as i think im picking up the middlewick ranges in colchester does anyone have any ideas as im hearing the callsigns
sentary 1 2 and 3 and they speak to ranger control?

Nothing to stop the military using 446MHz freqeuncies, but you'd think they'd be able find some of their own. Are you sure you are not getting ghost signals from another transmission?

nope not ghost frequencies you prob mean birdies no its channel 8 pmr 446 100%

Many MOD ranges are also used by civilian clubs who often use 446 radios.
